The Penn State Alumni Association

What’s been happening:

I live in the most rural county in West Virginia at the base of Cheat Mountain surrounded by the Monongahela National Forest. In this beautiful, inspiring place I am employed with Pocahontas County Schools as their Director of Federal Programs and Instruction. This is my 29th year working in education! I attribute my education at Penn State in the College of Education with all the success I have met with in my very varied career. I was a special education and elementary education teacher, a Director of Special Education, a school improvement specialist with the West Virginia Department of Education, a private contractor for school improvement, and now I am back working in a public school system. I wear my Penn State class ring with pride and I am proud to say that I am an alumnus of Penn State!
